Shots have been fired on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and a Canadian Armed Forces soldier has been shot, according to multiple media sources.
The Sydenahm Current has contacted the office of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MP Bev Shipley, who told us our local representative is safe.
“Bev is in a locked secure room with some other MP’s and staff,” said Wallaceburg resident Pat Davis, the chief of staff for Shipley.
Reports say a shooter is still at large.
