Lineup out the door at Dresden polling station

The Dresden Arena was busy this morning as people lined up outside the door waiting for their turn to vote.

“There was a lineup this morning when I got there,” said Dresden resident Tracy Keirsebilck. “I was there at about 10:05 a.m. It was lined right up out to the door. Everybody wanted to vote this morning an get it done.”

Keirsebilck said she would love to see some changes in Ward 4.

“It would be nice to have some changes in our Ward,” she said. “I’m really hoping for some good changes.”

Keirsebilck added: “People should go out and vote. It’s very important to support our town and our area.”

Incumbents Leon Leclair and Joe Faas are being challenged by newcomers Marc Reid and Gary Clarkson in North Kent.

The polls are open until 8 p.m. tonight.
