Shortly after 6:00 a.m. yesterday morning, a cyclist was travelling eastbound on Park Avenue East in Chatham.
The 52-year-old Chatham man was found lying on the gravel shoulder of the roadway.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance by ambulance and later airlifted to a Windsor Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Through investigation, police believe that the cyclist was struck by a passing motorist.
