Voting for the “People’s Choice” Award portion of the Mayor’s Heritage Preservation Awards is now open.

The Mayor’s Heritage Preservation Awards is a joint project of the Chatham-Kent Museum and Heritage Chatham-Kent.
The awards have been instituted to recognize property owners who have demonstrated best practices in historic preservation.
In addition to the five awards presented annually by Chatham-Kent Council, a sixth “People’s Choice” Award winner will be chosen by the citizens of Chatham-Kent.
Downtown Wallaceburg business, James Street Eatery is one of the properties nominated for the award.
