Arnold Jerome Reekers, a resident of Port Lambton, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the age of 85.
Arnold is the son of the late Arnold & Lubertha M. (Promess) Reekers.
He leaves behind Johanna, the love of his life for the past 60 years.
Beloved father of Betty (Jim Petro), Arnold Jr., Patrick (Trudy), Nicolas (Lauri Sue), Robert and Steve (Aggie) Reekers.
Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Arnold enjoyed long reflective walks and was a passionate wood carver.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, November 15 from 11 AM – Noon.
A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at noon.
Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery will take place at a later date. HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with arrangements. 519.627.3231.
