Downtown Wallaceburg decorated for the holidays

Just in time for the BIA’s downtown Wallaceburg Holiday Open House, the downtown core has been decorated for the holidays.

With the first light blanket of snow of the season sticking to the ground, a few Wallaceburg businesses donated their time to put up the decorations.

Karen Moran, the chair of the Wallaceburg BIA, said E.R. Schepens Electrical volunteered their time to decorate and put up the lights at the Cecile Bechard (Fountain) Park in downtown Wallaceburg.

She said Ogie’s Lift Truck Service Ltd. donated the use of their lift truck to put up some of the higher decorations as well.

Moran said Westbrook’s Flowers also volunteered their time to put up other decorations throughout the downtown core.

Moran added the BIA spent thousands of dollars this year on new decorations.
