Anyone in Dresden, Wallaceburg and the surrounding communities, who are in need of a doctor, do not have to look very far or wait very long.
“There are physicians in Wallaceburg and Dresden accepting patients,” said Laura Johnson, executive director for the Chatham-Kent Family Healthy Team. “Patients can just walk-in to register.”
Johnson said anyone looking for a doctor can simply pop into the Wallaceburg and Dresden faciltiies and register, there is no need to go through Health Care Connect.
“It is easier for patients to just walk in,” she said.

Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dr. Rizwan Muhammad and Dr. Naveed Hassan are all looking for more patients at the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team’s Wallaceburg Community Medical Centre site located on McNaughton Avenue.
All thre doctors are working shifts in the emergency departments of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in Chatham and Wallaceburg as well.
Dr. Imran Ibrahim is also taking new patients at the Dresden Community Healthcare Centre as well.
