Paddy James Phair, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at Meadowview Villa in Petrolia on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 78.
Paddy is the son of the late John Milman & Irene (Robertson) Phair.
Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Gibson) Phair and partner of Shirley DeWolf.
Loving father of Heather (Shawn) O’Leary and he was close with Shirley’s children Becky (Bryan) Jacques, Lisa (Dave) VanderVeeken, Diana (Joe) Russ and Marnie (Stan) Sowinski.
Loving Papa of Chloe and Caden and Grandpa Paddy to Carly, Taryn, Jordan, Maggi, Stanley and Andrew.
Dear brother of Gwen Chatterton (late Roy), Winnifred Andrews (Ted) and the late Jack Brown (Late Evelyn Fox).
Paddy was the former owner/builder for J. Phair & Son Construction and Paddy Phair Construction.
He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday.
The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, November 21 at 11 AM. Interment of cremated remains in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent Respite or Research may be left at the funeral home. 519.627.3231.
