Update: Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) advises of the closure of Highway 40 between Greenvalley Line and Cedar Hedge Line for an undetermined amount of time due to power lines down.
From Entegrus at 2:05pm: Customers in Wallaceburg are experiencing an outage due to branches interfering with wires due to the high winds. Crews have been dispatched to investigate. Number of customers is unknown at this time, please stay tuned for updates.
Update: Tree limbs blocking John Park Line Road between Prince St. and Cemetery Road just outside of Wallaceburg. People are being encouraged to use Wallace St.
Multiple hydro poles are down across the region.
Multiple power outages are taking place as well.

Emergency crews are “extremely busy” at this hour dealing with various incidents across the Municipality involving the wind.
Sources say the Chatham-Kent Fire Department are busy dealing with multiple fires across the area, as hydro poles have been knocked down due to the wind.
Fire crews and Entegrus officials are at the scene in front of the Wallaceburg Legion, as branches have fallen across hydro lines. Lights are also reportedly out on Murray Street in Wallaceburg.
A hydro pole on Dover Centre Line and St. Clair Road in Dover was on fire at around 2:15 p.m. Dover fire crews were attending the scene.
Another pole was reported on fire on Union Line as well.
