The trial date has been set in the first-degree murder of Noelle Paquette.

Reports say the three to four month long trial will start on April 4, 2016.

Michael MacGregor, 20, and Tanya Bogdanovich, 32, are facing first degree murder charges in the case.

Paquette, a school teacher, had gone missing following a New Year’s Eve party in Sarnia.

Her body was found in a woodlot on Mandaumin Road between Petrolia Line and Rokeby Line in St Clair Township on January 2, 2013.

The location of the trial is yet to be determined.

The defence team has applied to have the trial moved to a different location, outside of Sarnia.

This application is set to be heard on April 7, 2015.
