On November 17, 2014 around 4:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Lindsay Road south of Claymore Line.
A man was travelling south on Lindsay Road when he lost control of his truck and left the roadway.
The vehicle sheared a hydro pole, flipped and came to rest in a nearby field.
The man was not wearing his seatbelt and was extricated from the vehicle by fire fighters.
The 30-year-old Chatham Township man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries and later transferred to a Windsor Hospital.
Damage was estimated at $12,000.
The man has since been released from the hospital
Yesterday, he was charged with driving with no licence, failing to wear a seatbelt and careless driving.
