Santa Claus is coming to Walpole Island this weekend.
The annual parade will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 6.
The lineup begins in the Walpole Island Elementary School parking lot at 11 a.m.
The route travels from the school, down Tecumseh Road and stopping at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
The theme for this years parade is “Everything is Frozen.”
Marcia Peters, one of the organizers, told the Sydenham Current that the fun doesn’t stop when the parade stops.
“There will be visits with Santa at the arena,” she said.
Peters added that there will also be prizes awarded to the top floats, soup, cookies and hot chocolate available, raffles, a ‘Santa’s Bag Of Toys’ draw and even an ugly sweater contest as well.
