Some healthcare services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (Chatham & Wallaceburg campuses) will be altered over the holiday season.
Routine X-rays, EKG, and ultrasounds will not be available on December 25, 26, 2014 and January 01 and will reopen on January 02, 2015. These departments will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies. Ultrasound will be on-call on December 25, 2014 and January 01, 2015.
Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services at the Chatham and Sydenham Campus, the Diabetes Education Centre and the TIA and CAD clinics will be closed on December 25, 26, 2014 and January 01, 2015. At the Sydenham Campus, the Diabetes Education Centre will be closed from December 25 through to January 1 and will reopen on Friday, January 02, 2015.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program, Health Education Department will be closed on December 25, 26, 2014 and January 01, 2015.
Out-Patient Lab Services will be closed from 12 noon on December 24 through to and including January 01, 2015. Out-Patient Lab Services will reopen on January 2, 2015 at 8 a.m.
The Pre-Surgical Screening Department will be closed December 24 – 26 and 31 and January 01, 2015 and will reopen on January 02, 2015.
The Patient Appointment Office and the Health Records Department will be closed December 25 and 26, 2014 and January 01, 2015.
Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, will be closed at 2 pm starting on December 24, 2014 and will reopen for December 29 – 31 from 9 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Pharmacy will be closed January 1, 2015 and reopen on January 2 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and back to regular business hours on January 5.
Chatham Campus Ambulatory Care Department will be closed December 24-26, 2014 and December 31, 2014 to January 3, 2015 and will reopen on January 5, 2015. Ambulatory Care at Chatham Campus will be open on December 29 and 30, 2014 to accommodate patients.
Sydenham Campus Ambulatory Care Department will be open with reduced hours on December 23 from 0800 – 1600 hours and December 30, from 0800 – 16000 hours. It will be closed from December 24 – 26 and on December 29, 2014 and reopening on January 06, 2015.
The Oncology Department will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2014 and again on January 01, 2015.
The Business Office and Cashier`s Office will be closed on December 24 through to and including December 26, 2014 and will reopen December 29 to 31 only. These offices will be closed on Thursday, January 01, 2015 and will reopen on January 2, 2015. Please note there are two bill changers in the building to accommodate change for parking.
Hemodialysis Care will be closed December 25, 2014 and January 1, 2015.
The Emergency Departments at the Grand Avenue, Chatham, and Sydenham Campuses are open 24 hours daily.
