The Wallaceburg Lakers are on the outside looking in.
The Lakers currently sit in last place in the Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League, after suffering their 13th loss in a row on Wednesday at the hands of the Mooretown Flags.
After Matt Clark put the Lakers in the lead with a first period goal, Mooretown rattled off four straight goals.
Trevor Waller added another goal for Wallaceburg in the third period, but it wasn’t enough as the Flags held on the a 4-2 win.
The Lakers are now three points behind Mooretown for the eighth and final playoff spot in the league.
Wallaceburg hits the road this weekend, playing in Wheatley and Amherstburg on Saturday and Sunday.
