Wallaceburg’s Shanun Suisham, the kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will not be heading to the Pro Bowl this year.
The NFL announced the rosters for their annual All-Star game, and the former Wallaceburg Tartan was not on the list.
Chosen to kick in the game was Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots and Adam Vinatieri on the Indianapolis Colts.
Despite not making the game, Suisham still has some football to play this season.
The Steelers are heading to the playoffs this year, and who and when they play in the post-season will be determined after their final regular season game on Sunday when they host the Cincinnati Bengals.
The winner of the game will determine the winner of the AFC North division.
Kick off is slated for 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Suisham is enjoying a solid season this year.
He is 27 for 30 on field goal attempts this year, good for a 90 per cent clip.
