It is with sadness that the family announce the death of Dora, on Monday, December 29, 2014, in her 97th year.
She was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Henry and Jennie Thibault.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert Arnold.
Loving mother of Betty (John) Mayo and Robert (Mary Jane) Arnold.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Cassie (Rob), Christopher (Laura), Jason (Mary), Ryan (Amy) and Trisha (Joel) and 8 great grandchildren.
Kind sister of Garnet (Margaret) and the late Kenneth.
Also survived by her nieces Linda and Carol Ann.
Dora was a dedicated and compassionate teacher, who loved her life in the profession. She will be remembered by generations of students in the area.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow in Arnold Cemetery, Thamesville, Ontario.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Dora Arnold.
