FLETCHER: Phillis Elizabeth age 96 of Chatham passed away Monday December 29, 2014 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham.
She was born in Caister Centre daughter of the late Charles & Ethel (Voll) Street. Mrs. & Rev. Fletcher enjoyed 70 years of marriage before Rev. Fletcher passed away at age 95 in 2009.
Surviving are two daughters Donna Medel (Riley) of London, Judy Kitchen (Jim) of Tupperville and one son Charles Fletcher (Elaine) of Niagara Falls; 6 grandchildren: Bradley (Heather), Janice (Steve), Kristy (Dave), Karen (Matthew), Greg (Patricia) Doug (Nathalie); 13 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Shirley Street of St. Catherines.
She is predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross St. Dresden on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from the Zion Free Methodist Church on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Clyne officiating assisted by Rev. Ron Bartolo.
Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made by cheque to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Zion Free Methodist Church or Charlemont Free Methodist Church and left at the funeral home.
