On Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at approximately 4:55 p.m., a man was driving eastbound on Queen’s Line weaving in and out of traffic.

Police officials said at one point he cut off another vehicle causing the driver to slam on his brakes to avoid a collision.

The man followed this vehicle and at one point forced it off the road into the shoulder, police say.

The two vehicles stopped at an intersection where the man got out and approached the other driver threatening him with a hunting knife.

Police say the man sped off and the victim followed in an attempt to identify the man.

The man observed the victim following him and braked hard causing the victim to collide with his vehicle.

The victim called police who attended and located the man at his residence.

A 29-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Assault with a Weapon.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
