Thamesville’s Trent Fox is heading to Belleville.
The Erie Otter and Belleville Bulls announced today that Erie has acquired forwards Jake Marchment and Remi Elie from the Belleville in exchange for forward Fox, defenseman Jesse Saban and six draft picks.
“Trent brings great size, skill and skating and is off to a great start with 20 points in the first half of the season,” said George Burnett, head coach and general manager for Belleville on the Bulls website.
Fox, who was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection Draft, has appeared in 34 games this season as a rookie, netting seven goals and 20 points.
Fox is expected to be in the line up for Wednesday’s game against the Windsor Spitfires.
Fox is the younger brother of Dane Fox, who is a prospect in the Vancouver Canucks organization.
