On January 3, 2015, a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting RADAR enforcement on Highway 401 near Mull Road.
Just before noon, the officer observed a westbound Lexus car that appeared to be exceeding the posted speed limit of 100 km/hr.
The RADAR registered a speed of 168 km/hr.
The 27 year old male driver from Scarborough has been charged with stunt driving. The driver’s licence has been suspended and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days, as per statute.
