The Adult Activity Centre in Wallaceburg is set to stay put.
The Wallaceburg Senior Citizens Club Inc. is set to have their lease agreement extended for five years with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Administration has agreed to the renewal and all of the current terms associated with the lease will be applied in the new agreement.
The agreement is pending council approval.
The busy downtown facility is located at 205 James Street, and offers a wide-variety of activities and programs for adults over the age of 45.
Just recently, the Centre was handed a grant for $6,586 from the Chatham-Kent Community Foundation and South Kent Wind, to go towards purchasing new exercise equipment.
Council will vote on the item, which is listed in the routine approvals section of the agenda, at their upcoming meeting on Monday, January 12.
