Freighters are getting stuck in the St. Clair River, due to ice.
Sources say a total of five freighters were stuck in the ice not moving at 12 p.m.
Ferry service for the Walpole-Algonac Ferry Ltd. is temporarily suspended due to ice in the river.
Sources say the Bluewater Ferry in Sombra is shut down as well, although this has not been confirmed.
