Yvon Bernard of Wallaceburg

1502548_profile_picMr. Yvon Bernard, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the London Health Science Centre, University Campus, in London, at the age of 75.

Yvon was born in Quebec and was a son of the late Stanislas and Vilda (Dufresne) Bernard.
Beloved husband of Carol Ann (Carpenter) Bernard.

Loving father of Diane (Tim) Percival, Mark (Christine) Bernard and Phillip (Melissa) Bernard.

Sadly missed by his grandchidlren Kaitlyn, Karson, Sydney, Colton, Sarah, Trent and Kelly.

Kind brother and brother-in-law of Irene & Georges Durfresne, Annette & O’Neil Samson, Nicole & Renald Lacasse, Lise & Claude Samuel, Lynn Bernard, Gilles & Jacynthe Bernard and Carol Bernard.

Predeceased by his sisters Claire, Jeannette and Rene and his brothers Leo, Phillip, Arthur, Alband, Eddy and Gerard.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 19, 2015 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 12 noon.

Cremation will follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Yvon Bernard.
