Lorine Mary Sands, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, died peacefully at her home on Monday, January 12, 2015 in her 90th year.
Lorine is the daughter of the late Jamison & Eliza (Lewis) Whiteye.
Beloved wife of the late James Haywood Sands.
Loving mother of Sonja Elaine, Ruby Mae (the late Tony Martinez), Mark Jamison, Nannette Carolyn (Jan Blackbird), Angela Jaye (the late Lee White), Anne Michel, Amie Lee (Mitch Sands), Lana Lynn (Spencer Jacobs), Ruby Elaine (Dody), Steven Wayne, Jullian Wayne and the late Karen, Ronald Wilson and Verlyn (Birdie).
She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family visiting & funeral was held at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Walpole Island First Nation Food Bank.
