Drug trafficking charges laid after traffic stop

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested four men following a traffic stop in Chatham last night.

Around 10:00 p.m. an officer on general patrol initiated a traffic stop on Grand Avenue East near Vanier Drive.

Through investigation, a quantity of cash, cocaine and methamphetamine was seized.

Total street value of the drugs was estimated at $3200.

Four men from Chatham face drug trafficking charges as a result.

All four men were released with conditions pending a future court date of February 26, 2015.
