The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man from the ‘Wanted List’.
On December 3, 2014, the man allegedly entered a residence on Baseline Road in Wallaceburg and assaulted the homeowner and his wife, both of whom were known to him.
The man fled the residence prior to police arrival.
Officers attempted to locate the man, however when unsuccessful, a warrant for the offences of break and enter, assault x2, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, failing to comply x2 and breach of probation x2 was issued.
Yesterday afternoon, the 29-year-old man was located on Elgin Street in Wallaceburg and taken into custody.
He was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
