Katherine “Kathy“ Anne Thompson, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the C.K.H.A. “Sydenham Campus”, Wallaceburg at the age of 66 years.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Anne (Zopf) Thompson.
Loving sister and sister-in-law of Sue (Eric) Allaer, Wayne (Dorothy) Thompson and Doug (Cheryl) Thompson.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
Kathy was a member of Community Living Wallaceburg and was a former employee of ARC Industries.
She enjoyed music, movies and reading and was known by many in the community through her frequent walks downtown and visits to the local shops.
The late Katherine Thompson is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Cremation has taken place.
A family celebration will be held at a later date and the interment of her ashes will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, Ontario.
