Glen R. Williams “O’Gitchedaw”, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation died peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in London on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the age of 70.

Glen is the son of the late Lila (Blackbird) and Harry David Williams Sr..

Loved husband of Evelyn WhiteEye.

Loving father of Steve, Fenton (Marcellian), Glynis (Robert), Jordan (Lisa), Anndy (Shannon) and Neebing Williams.

Dear grandfather of Eagle, Jillian, Naanan, Hailey, Rain, Robi, Raisa, Raven, Talon, Gavin, Jardina, Mechise, Benton, SpiritBoy, Cedar, Shayne,

Ila and Kiva and great grandfather of Sunset, NoonDay, Amber, Mechise, Hector and Thunder.

Brother of Anne Johnson, Beverly Williams, David and the late Robert, Douglas and Tom Williams.

Glen is a veteran, having served with the Queens Own Rifles, Signal Corps.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the family home, 1148 River Road South, Walpole Island, on Tuesday.

The funeral will be celebrated at Walpole Island Elementary School on Tecumseh Road on Wednesday, February 25 at 1 PM with visiting at the school in the hour prior.

Interment at Highbanks Cemetery.
