The Dresden Kings are on the brink of elimination, after a 4-1 loss in Game 3 of their Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Championship series against the Essex 73’s.
Dresden got a second period goal by Derrick VanEvery on the power play, with assists going to Dede Cato and Jordan Durston.
This cut the Essex lead in half at 2-1, but the 73’s managed to score twice more before the night was out to clinch the victory.
Essex now leads the series 3-0.
