After three weeks of competition, the winner has been crowned for the Wilmar Electric Senior Star Search 2015 Singing Contest.
Coming out on top as the winner was Alan Delaet of Ridgetown.
Marty Letourneau of Sarnia came in second, while Bill Thibeault of Wallaceburg came in third.
“I am absolutely, flat-out amazed at the quality of the performances we saw and heard at the finals of the Wilmar Electric Senior Star Search last evening,” said Earl Holley, one of the organizers.
“Those who came out to the CBD Club were treated to outstanding talent from 12 of the very finest vocalists in all of southwest Ontario. Any of the twelve could have been in the top three, but in the end, the judges had to pick only three. Congratulations and a huge ‘thank you’ to all of the contestants. You certainly did yourselves proud.”
