The Lambton-Kent Cardinals boys hockey team captured the LKSSAA A/AA championship last week, and they are hoping to keep the momentum going towards a SWOSSAA championship tomorrow afternoon.

The game has originally been scheduled for today (Mar. 3), but due to the buses being cancelled, the game was shifted to Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Dresden Arena.

L-K will battle the FJ Brennan Cardinals in the SWOSSAA championship.

The Dresden squad played their hearts out on Thursday in an exciting LKSSAA final against the LCCVI Lancers from Petrolia.

Clint Jones opened the scoring for L-K just 10 seconds into the game.

However, Aaron Underwood provided the heroics at the 11:24 mark of the third with what proved to be the game-winning goal.

Chris Dewulf was solid between the pipes for the Cardinals.
