A Wallaceburg man has been charged for shoveling snow onto King Street.
Police say on March 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., an officer was on patrol in Wallaceburg when he observed a 54-year-old King Street resident shoveling snow from his property onto the traveled portion of King Street.
Police officials say the officer attempted to counsel the male about the legality and danger of this practice, but the male was allegedly belligerent and not receptive to the caution.
As a result, the man was issued a $110 ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for depositing snow on the roadway.
