Lorden Edward Crosby of Dresden

Crosby0000001A00000013It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lorden Edward Crosby, a lifelong resident of Dresden passed on March 16, 2015 at CKHA PGH Campus at the age of 78 years.

He was born in Dresden, the son of the late Edward and Eva (Wallace) Crosby and his stepmother, Lettie Crosby. Lorden has gone to join his beloved wife, Myrtle Irene (1998) whom he missed tremendously. Dear father and father-in-law to Donna McClure, Lorna and (Ken) Evans, Wayne and (Karen) Crosby all of Dresden, Nancy and (Mark) DeWolf of Corunna, loving grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers: Delbert and Leroy Crosby.

Lorden being very sports minded enjoyed trap shooting, archery, golf and hunting. Lorden was also an Honorary Deacon at the Queen St. Baptist Church in Dresden for many years and his faith remained strong until his last breath.

Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Albert Lambkin officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
