A fundraising luncheon is taking place at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 18 today (March 21) in Wallaceburg.
The Legion is hosting the luncheon for Pastor Brian Horrobin.
Horrobin is running in the Boston Marathon next month, and the Legion would like to show their support by raising some cash to help with the trip.
For only $5, people will get a bowl of soup, chicken noodle or beef barley, and a sandwich, egg salad and assorted meats, all proceeds are going towards Horrobin’s Boston Marathon efforts.
The luncheon will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, drop into the Legion anytime before March 21.
