Today has been declared Hockey Day in Chatham-Kent, as it marks the final day for voting in the Kraft Hockeyville contest.
People are being encouraged to wear a hockey jersey to work or school today to mark the occasion.
They are also being reminded to vote as often as possible!
Chatham-Kent is among 10 finalists in the contest, will who each win $25,000 in upgrades for their arena.
The top two communities will win $100,000 to go towards upgrades a their arena, and the top city will win the opportunity to host a NHL pre-season game.
Voting ends on March 23.
A voting stations is set up at the Wallaceburg Library today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
