More than 100 patients registered for a family physician on Wednesday, at an open house at the Wallaceburg Medical Centre.
“Thanks to the physicians and the staff who assisted to make the day a huge success,” said Laura Johnson, executive director for the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team.
Johnson said the Wallaceburg site of the Family Health Team, located at 30 McNaughton Ave., welcomed people into their facility for a patient registration open house.
“Anyone who wasn’t able to attend on Wednesday is welcome to come into the clinic on McNaughton Avenue to register for a family physician any time during office hours,” she said.
Johns added there are three easy steps to sign up for an available doctor:
1. Bring your Health Card
2. Sign the Roster Form
3. Schedule your first appointment
