Update: Wallaceburg Home Hardware shares surveillance photos following B&E

A Wallaceburg business has shared surveillance photos, after their store was broken into earlier this week.

“Help us identify these two individuals who broke into Wallaceburg Home Hardware in the early hours of Monday November 18,” Home Hardware officials posted on social media.

“Please contact the Chatham-Kent Police Service at (519) 352-1234 if you have any information that would assist in apprehending these individuals.”

On Monday, Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers shared information about the incident, as part of their ‘Crime of the Week’.

“On November 18, 2024, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a call on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg, also known as Home Hardware, regarding a break and enter,” Crime Stoppers officials said.

“Officers arrived and observed glass break at the main entry doors and property was taken from the store. It is estimated that the damage to the window breaking is approximately $1,000 and cost of the items taken were $1,275. Crime Stoppers is seeking information that can identify the persons responsible for this B&E.
