Knights of Pythias busy packing Easter eggs

The Knights of Pythias and other volunteers are keeping busy today in preparation of Saturday’s Easter egg hunt in Wallaceburg.

About 22 volunteers have gathered at the Knights of Pythias hall this afternoon stuffing eggs with goodies.

In total, there are 4,000 eggs being stuffed.

Wallaceburg’s annual Easter egg hunt will mark its 30th year on Saturday,

The event is being held at Kinsmen Park starting at 11 a.m., with the youngest group of children going first.

The Knights of Pythias, Knights of Columbus, Wallaceburg Kinsmen and the CBD Club each take part in the organizing of the event.

This year, it is the Knights of Pythias’ turn.

Pop and chips will be available for the kids following the hunt.
