Suspended driver caught in Wallaceburg

Early this morning, around 4:30 a.m. an officer on general patrol observed a man driving a car unusually slow on James Street in Wallaceburg.

The officer initiated a traffic stop as he believed the driver may be impaired.

Through investigation, the officer determined that the man was not impaired however he was suspended from driving.

The 54-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with three counts of driving while under suspension.

His girlfriend’s car was impounded for seven days as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program.
