Here is a photo of the Wallaceburg house painters combined to take part in a 1940 Chamber of Commerce-sponsored beautification program.
The town hall on Duncan Street was first on the list with the brush team preparing to spiff up the old structure. Painters include Frank Dekort, Leo Schram, Seva Judson, Joe Woods, Jim Judson, William Nolan, Edward Lane, Herb Seed and Bob Southgate.
