Police were called to Dawn Mills Road early Sunday morning after a report of a motor vehicle collision.
A 47-year-old Chatham man was driving his vehicle when he lost control and drove into the ditch.
Damage was estimated at $10,000 and the man was charged with careless driving.
Fortunately, the man did not suffer any injuries.
