The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a shoplifting complaint in Wallaceburg last night.
Around 8:00 p.m. the woman entered Shopper’s Drug Mart on McNaughton Avenue and concealed several items in her purse.
An employee confronted the woman and contacted police.
The woman was found to be in possession of various shampoos, conditioners and soaps valued at approximately $110.
The 30-year-old Chatham woman was charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000.
She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
