Smith: Laura Lee a resident of Dresden passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 50.
Born in Chatham, daughter of George & Evelyn (Rizun) Smith. Beloved wife of Ken Smith. Loving mom of Brady Smith. Loved sister of Tracy & Jason Hedden. Dear sister-in-law of Linda & Bob Hedden, Sandra & Neil Marchand and Diane & Larry DeFraeye. Sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Laura Lee was an employee of Union Gas for 14 years and was an avid sports enthusiast.
The Smith family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to D.C.H.F (Dresden Community Healthcare Foundation) or L.K.C.S.
