Update: Dresden woman charged after Hwy. 40 crash

On May 29, 2015, just before 1:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, Chatham-Kent Fire Services and Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 40 and Countryview Line.

In addition to the two drivers who were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as previously reported, a passenger in the International delivery truck was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge, an 18-year-old from Dresden, has been charged with Fail To Yield To Traffic On Through Highway, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
