The Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Association (OFSAA) ‘AA’ girls soccer tournament kicked off in Wallaceburg on Thursday.
The Wallaceburg Tartans started the tournament with a 1-1 record on Thursday.
Wallaceburg topped Fort Frances 2-0 in their opener at Perry Park.
The Tartans got goals from Kaitlyn Vancoillie and Sydney Nutt.
Liz VanderVeeken posted the shutout.
Wallaceburg fell in their second game to Belleville Bayside, 2-1.
Alyssa Lucier scored the lone Wallaceburg goal.
Wallaceburg will look to bounce back on Friday as round robin play continues.
