The sun was shining bright, the Wallaceburg Legion was packed and the Sydenham River was busy today at the annual Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival.
After a neck-and-neck race in the ‘A’ division gold medal final, it was the Bolting Turtles (1:32.59) squad winning over Hope Floats (1:33.10.)
North Liver Line won the gold medal in the ‘B’ division over Pinky’s Nipples & Ripples.
Bethel Buddies earned gold in the ‘C’ division over Inclusion Rules.
And Southwest Dragons captured the gold in the ‘D’ division over Le buzz de St-Michel.
