Some people in Chatham probably did not need the caffeine in their coffee this morning, after getting a different kind of wake-up call.
The Chatham Kent Police received a call shortly before 8 a.m. in regards to a deer striking and breaking a window at Tim Hortons, located on Third Street in downtown Chatham.
“There were minor injuries sustained to a patron who was next to the window at the time, no medical treatment was required,” said Const. Lisa Rodger, of the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
Rodger said the deer was gone upon police arrival and it was not located.
