Stephen Russell Carroll, a resident of Wallaceburg, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 62.
Steve is the father of Zachary, Luciann and Courtney Carroll, who all reside in Calgary Alberta. Brother of Robin Carroll of Wallaceburg. Son of the late Russell “Lefty” and Ruth (Robinson) Carroll. Uncle of many.
A life-long employee of Eaton Yale/Oxford Automotive, Steve had also worked at Waltec and the Oaks Inn. He enjoyed playing darts at the CBD and the Legion and was a good bowler for the Oxford team. Steve coached many Wallaceburg hockey and baseball teams for his kids and he never missed a Toronto Blue Jays or Maple Leafs Game.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Tuesday. The funeral will be celebrated at Trinity United Church, 750 Wellington St in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, July 15 at 11 AM. Visiting in the church in the hour prior. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
