The Chatham-Kent Fire Department is investigating after a fire at 22 Reaume Ave. this morning in Wallaceburg.
Fire officials say the cause of the blaze, which broke out at 4:37 a.m., is still under investigation.
Approximately $120,000 damage was caused, while $5,000 worth of property was saved.
“Firefighters arrived at the scene of a working fire at an unoccupied single family dwelling,” said Alan DeVillaer, assistant chief. “Fire crews brought the fire under control within 10 minutes. No injuries were reported.”
Crews from Wallaceburg and Chatham fought the fire.
