With summer in full swing, it is easy to fill your social calendar very quickly with the myriad of community events taking place.
In August in particular, people will be faced with some decisions.
In Wallaceburg, WAMBO 27 will be taking place. The show features antique boats, antique, classic and specialty cars, fire trucks, and motorcycles. Other popular displays include models and toys, art in the park, craft tables and souvenirs.
WAMBO has lined up some musical entertainment for the whole weekend as well, with The Mudmen taking the stage on Saturday night.
The free event has turned into Wallaceburg’s biggest event, year after year.
Every year, the Optimist Club in Bothwell hold a successful car show the same weekend.
To top things off, the Rotary Club of Chatham is bringing The Beach Boys to Tecumseh Park in Chatham this year on Saturday, August 8.
